Best U.S. Community Colleges of 2015

SmartAsset just came out with their Best Community Colleges of 2015, and of the 565 community colleges in the U.S. that were analyzed, the following California community colleges made the top 100:

• Moorpark College  – #22
• Napa Valley College – #39
• Foothill College – #44
• De Anza College – #65
• Saddleback College – #72
• Irvine Valley College  – #92
• Lassen Community College – #96

Criteria was based on these four metrics:

• Quality (student-teacher ratio)
• Cost (based on in-state tuition)
• Success rate (graduation and transfer figures)
• Return on Investment  (ratio of average starting salary to overall cost of attendance)
