When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Nothing else is done with it and it is not shared and used for solicitation. - Contact forms
Filling out the contact form simply sends an email to Lindy King. It is not shared with anyone. - Blog posts by email
Signing up for emailed posts stores your email on MailChimp. We do not share it with any company and only send the scheduled blog posts. You may cancel anytime and your email and any other info is erased. - Cookies
Cookies are not used on the site as we collect no user information and moderate all comments.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request that we erase it. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
