Bob Dylan Nobel Prize for Literature

The Top 10 Universities with Nobel Prize Winners

If you envision a Nobel Prize in your future, you might up the ante a bit by applying to one of these ten universities. These are the ones that have produced the highest number of Nobel Laureates over time.  And no, Bob Dylan did not attend any of them.  (But UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara made the cut!)

Regarding the esteemed Mr D, as a tribute to you college-bound kids, I have included the iconic video of Subterranean Homesick Blues and a few lyrics from the song.  (They appear to have had the same job issues in the mid-1960s.)

Get born, keep warm
Short pants, romance, learn to dance
Get dressed, get blessed
Try to be a success
Please her, please him, buy gifts
Don’t steal, don’t lift
Twenty years of schoolin’
And they put you on the day shift
