20 UC Berkeley Majors for Best Shot Entry
One of the things I get asked the most are which majors will give me the best shot of getting into Berkeley. While there are numerous variables– and I always suggest picking a subject that fits in your wheelhouse — I also recognize its often more important for some to just get in.
Therefore, I have complied data for the top 20 majors that have the best admit rates for transfers.
While there is no clear data for freshmen, this information is a consistent gauge and can be extrapolated and applied to high school applicants. Not the actual admit rates, which will be substantially lower, but their position on the hierarchy.
Also, keep in mind, some of these majors have a small concentration of students, so not as many apply and hence the number of overall students admitted is lower.
