  • SAT Subject Test, language other than English, minimum 590 score
  • AP Exam in World Languages and Cultures, score of at least 3
  • International Baccalaureate Exam in:
    • Language (other than English) acquisition, B standard or higher
    • Studies in language (other than English) and literature, A Literature, standard or higher; A Literature/Language, standard or higher
  • GCE A-levels or IGCSE/GCSE/GCE O-level exam in a language other than English, A,B or C or 1,2 or 3
  • Foreign Service Institute (FSI) or Defense Language Institute (DLI) exam, 1-5

  1. Hi Lindy,

Do all UCs accept UCScout On-Demand courses for Spanish as World Language? My son is in middle school and is planning to take Spanish 1 and 2 in 7th grade.and Spanish 3 in high school through UCScout.

Will this plan be counted as 3 years of high school requirement for World Language?

    thanks..
